Managing Director Eirteic Africa

As Managing Director of Eirteic Africa, Birgit Smythe is responsible for delivering solutions that satisfy the Service Management needs of numerous customers on the African continent through the sale of products, training and consulting. Since the formation of Eirteic Africa in 2005, Birgit continues to grow the team based in Pretoria, South Africa. Birgit has broad experience in the field of OSS/BSS, including the role of Systems Engineer focusing on OSS/BSS at Cisco Systems and as a consultant at another leading OSS company.

Birgit started her professional career as an Electronic Engineer, following her B.Sc (Eng) studies at the University of Cape Town, but soon found her calling in the IT industry.
